Dr. Natalie Ling

Dr Natalie Ling is a Brisbane-based Consultant Dermatologist, and founder of Mowbray Park Dermatology. Dr Ling has published her research widely in scientific journal and completed a Master of Philosophy in melanoma risk phenotypes. She strives to encourage all patients to reduce their skin cancer risk, through intentional daily habits.

"As a dermatologist who manages skin cancer daily, discussing photoprotection with my patients is of paramount importance.

SParms are reliable garments that consistently protect against UV radiation. I particularly like the fact that, unlike sunscreen, they withstand sweat, moisture and friction over arms and legs.

Perfect for the Australian lifestyle and climate, I recommend these for not only my patients, but also family and friends.

They are comfortable and look great. My favourite piece is the long-sleeved cooling shirt which can be worn on its own , over swimsuits, or underneath sleeveless and short-sleeved tops.

If you are looking for an easy, convenient, and stylish way to protect yourself in the sun, look no further than SParms."

Dr. Tristan Blake

Dr Tristan Blake is a Specialist Dermatologist, Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatology (Australia's peak body in all skin disorders). Dr Tristan grew up in Far North Queensland and played golf as early as he could walk. He is dual trained in both Pharmacy and Medicine, and completed his Fellowship in Dermatology around the State of Queensland (the highest rate of skin cancer per capita in the world). Photoaging and skin cancer is a large part of his daily workload and of interest to him.

"Don't get me wrong, I love the sun and being outdoors like you. The simple fact is, particularly for fairer skin types, the sun doesn't love us back as much. UVA and UVB are forms of radiation that induce cellular DNA damage in our skin (even present on cloudy days). We 100% know this 1) makes you look older, and 2) leads to skin cancers. Which makes it a challenge to be outdoors safely over time.
